On
Tuesday 5th, I had my first teaching experience with basic level. At the beginning of the class, I felt kind of nervous because they are a lot of
students. Then, I started to feel more comfortable working with them.
First,
I started the class with a warm up activity and I could see students really
liked it. Then, I gave them a short reading about Beyonce and they had to fill
in the blanks with the "verb to be" and possessive adjectives. In this class,
students had more practice and exercises, because the teacher had already
introduced the topic and the grammar part. That is why, I gave them more
exercises about the "verb to be" using the affirmative, negative and
interrogative form, and a little bit about possessive adjectives.
I
would like to say that I feel satisfied because this group is very nice. They
pay attention to what I tell them and they understand very well the
instructions of the activities they are going to work with.
In this class, Most of the students
participated in the activities I assigned them and it makes me feel proud of them,
because I can see students are willing to learn and cooperate with me. I consider they did a good job at the moment
to perform the activities and I hope they continue cooperating with me, because
it facilitates my teaching process. So, I want to continue
doing my best in this teaching practicum in order that students can learn in a better way.
